Design & Toolmaking

The basis for high-quality forgings is a perfect design. We use modern CAD and simulation software for the forging process. Our in-house toolmaking and a dedicated maintenance team create precise tools and fixtures for forgings and metal components used in industries such as mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, rail transport, and industrial plant engineering.

Die Forging & Forming Technology

In our plants (like Hammerwerke Haspe up to 60 kg and Warsteiner Eisenhammer up to 150 kg) we produce resilient components. The manufactured die-forged parts are ideally suited for safety-relevant components and dynamic loads. They offer increased strength compared to other steel parts like cast steel or steel plates – perfect for mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, and rail transport.

  • Warsteiner Eisenhammer: 2 hammer lines up to 150 kg
  • Hammerwerke Haspe: 8 hammer lines 0.1 - 60 kg
  • Total forging capacity: 14,400 t
Die Forging & Forming Technology

CNC machining

Through CNC machining, blanks become ready-to-install precision components for technical assemblies, fasteners, and demanding industrial applications. A total of over 40 milling & turning machines, robotic loading, and a pallet station ensure maximum efficiency. In addition, we offer robotic welding according to ISO 3834-2.

Heat Treatment &
Finishing

Heat treatment, surface finishing, and industrial painting increase the resilience, longevity, and usability of components, even for robust applications in industry and transport technology. Our hardening shop (HEG) offers high- and low-temperature furnaces, an open atmosphere, and a testing laboratory. The LEG plant ensures a perfect finish through wet painting, 2K paint systems, and high-quality brand-name paints.
